Terms of Service

These terms apply to the pre-launch waitlist at nownowlaundry.co.za. By dropping your number into the form, you agree to these terms. We'll publish a fuller set of customer terms when we go live in June 2026 — those will apply once you actually start booking laundry pickups.

1. What you're signing up for

You're joining the Now Now Laundry founder waitlist. We'll WhatsApp you when our service goes live in your Cape Town suburb. If you're among the first 100 to sign up, we'll honour the founder offer: R150 off your first three washes, locked-in launch pricing for life, free pickup and delivery on your first two orders, and access to a private WhatsApp group with the founder team.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and live in or near Cape Town to sign up. By submitting the form you confirm both. We may need to verify identity before applying founder discounts.

3. The founder offer — the fine print

  • · The 100 founder spots are awarded in order of signup. We'll WhatsApp you to confirm your founder status before launch.
  • · The R150 voucher is split across your first three washes (R50 off each) and auto-applied at checkout. It can't be converted to cash.
  • · "Locked-in pricing for life" means: if we increase our standard rates after launch, you continue to pay our launch-day rates. This applies as long as your account stays active (one wash per quarter is enough). It does not apply to ad-hoc add-ons like express turnaround.
  • · Free pickup and delivery applies to your first two orders in your registered Cape Town suburb, then standard delivery fees apply.
  • · Referral rewards are credited once the referred friend signs up. If they later delete their waitlist entry, the credit is reversed.
  • · We can change or end the founder programme at any time before launch (June 2026) if we have to. If we do, we'll WhatsApp everyone affected first.

4. What we won't do

  • · We won't sell your number to anyone.
  • · We won't spam you. We'll WhatsApp you when we're live in your area or when there's a real deal.
  • · We won't bill you for anything during the pre-launch period.

5. What we ask of you

  • · Give us a real phone number that belongs to you.
  • · Don't abuse the referral system (fake friends, multiple accounts, etc.). We reserve the right to revoke founder status if we see manipulation.
  • · Don't try to overload, scrape, or otherwise break the website.

6. Cancelling

You can leave the waitlist at any time. WhatsApp the auntie crew, or email allan.perrottet@decommerce.com and we'll remove you within 24 hours.

7. Limitation of liability

We try hard to make the service work but we're a small team launching something new. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the waitlist or the website. The founder offer is a gift; if we can't honour it for reasons outside our control (regulatory changes, business closure), our maximum liability is to refund any amount you've paid us, which during pre-launch is zero.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be heard in the Western Cape Division of the High Court of South Africa.
